Subiaco's Halloween weekend spreads across the town centre with giant inflatable monsters to play and pose with in Market Square Park, haunted laneways, a family fright-night walking tour, and a Halloween-night Subi Fright Market with face painting, trick-or-treating and an outdoor movie. Most of it is free; walking tours are booked separately.

Perth Zoo reopens after hours for costumed families on Halloween weekend. There's a trick-or-treat trail, scare-ousel rides, face painting, a Monster Mash disco and a silent disco, plus themed zones like Zoorassic Park and a Witch's Cottage. Animal viewing runs until 6pm. Each night is ticketed separately and it has sold out before, so book early.

Gidgegannup Agricultural Show 2026 (80th Gidge Show)

The Hills' big country show turns 80 this year. Expect an expanded amusement park with dodgems, a pirate ship and a coaster, sideshow games and Halloween-themed attractions, plus 30-plus food stalls, trade stands and an entertainment program. A full day out on Halloween for families who want something more country than costume parties. Kids' art entries are open; poultry judging is not running this year.

Two free evenings at Mills Park with food trucks from around the world, live performances, carnival rides and sideshows, roving entertainers, and dedicated children's, big kids' and youth zones.
